A book shaped by experience
The letter describes how Julia’s childhood experience led her to write Ring the Bell!. The book is a story for children about coping with a parent’s illness and learning that it is okay to ask for help.
Julia invited friends and neighbors to learn about Pink Warriors, take part in community events, and ask about sponsorship. The letter also described the effort to get the book to families through healthcare locations.
